![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, the book was horrible, I would not recommend it to anyone, not even for punishment. ![]() She didn't explain how or why she came to this conclusion then a few pages later the book ended just as poorly! The only thing the ending did was leave room for a sequel that did follow some years later this, I have NO intentions of reading. However, if you like details, not just in the scenery, but in the climax of a story as well, this book may frustrate you just as it did me.Īlong with a "small" mystery, that started out interesting, came to a head & popped like a festering pimple (sloppy & painful), within one tiny sentence & no warning! Si left the apartment & when he returned, Julia knew who the bad guy was & that was that. ![]() I was board to tears! If you LOVE details, then this book may be for you. (novel) From Time to Time is a 1995 illustrated novel by American writer Jack Finney, the sequel to Time and Again, which tells the story of how Simon Morley, working on a secret government project in 1970, was able to travel back in time to the New York City of 1882. It was like hitting a brick wall in a car "BAM" wait, what just happened?! The decade that Bellamy wanted to get away from is the very decade that Finney wants to return to: no air pollution, no world wars. This book started slow, was not nearly interesting enough to have so many details then ended so poorly & without notice. Finneys full title could be Time and Again 19701882. This was a required book in my Contemporary Fiction class. ![]()
